Coast Men's Retreat 2011

And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” (Mark 1:17)

Let me encourage all our men (13 years old and up) to join us for our men's retreat this year. Our topic is "The Joy of Fishing: Fighting for Our Joy (and the Joy of Others) in God through Evangelism."

If this topic seems frightening, join the club! If this topic seems unnecessary, then pray and ask God if He thinks so! If this topic seems confusing, then let's pray for clarity and talk about it on the retreat!

The title of the sessions for this topic are the following:

Session 1: Love
Session 2: Understand
Session 3: Pray
Session 4: Connect
Session 5: Invite
Session 6: Talk

We will use a format that includes short video segments interspersed with group discussion of passages of Scripture (which we will facilitate) and concluding with small group discussion and prayer. Of course,there will be worship time included as well.

Cost: $127.00 (includes a workbook; we request that this be paid before the retreat weekend)
Ages: 13 years old and up
Capacity: 40 spaces
Sign Ups: July 17 - Aug 14 (sign up open to members of Coast); Aug 14 - September 11 (sign up open to men outside of Coast as well, as space permits) (note: a $20.00 deposit is requested when signing up)

If you have special needs at the retreat (like deluxe rooms, etc :) or if you need help financially to go on the retreat, please let us know. If you have the resources to help others financially so they can also go on the retreat, please let us know as well.

Please sign up soon and consider inviting others to the retreat from outside of Coast (if space permits). When you sign up, please let us know if you need a ride to the retreat or if you have room in your vehicle to give people a ride to the retreat.
